Bilingual Education |

This interdisciplinary 16-credit certificate program is designed for M.S.W. graduates who are bilingual and who work or plan to work in school setting that requires certification in bilingual education. The program consists of core courses that meet the bilingual certification requirements for pupil personnel service professionals mandated by the New York State Education Department.
Courses are offered jointly the School of Social Work (10 credits) and the School of Education (6 credits). Courses may be waived depending on previously completed graduate-level courses.
