Message from the Associate Dean |

Dr. Judy Fenster
|
We are proud of our Master of Social Work program, which has been preparing students for over 55 years. Our graduates have become prominent leaders in the field both throughout the New York metropolitan region and across the nation. Our program is welcoming and challenging. The faculty are excellent instructors with strong practice and research backgrounds.
The goal of our curriculum is to train direct practitioners who have the knowledge and skills to work with a range of clients (individuals, families, groups, or organizations) and towards the promotion of social work and economic justice. Our flexible program enables students to choose from several program paths to complete their M.S. W. degree, including full-time and part-time study, advanced standing, one-year residency (O.Y.R.) and the accelerated 16-month program. Courses are offered in the Fall and Spring Semesters, with an optional Summer Session. For those wanting additional training in specific areas, we also offer certificate programs in Human Resource Management and Bilingual Education.
I hope that you will consider applying to the program. Applications are accepted year-round. For further information, please contact our Admissions Office.
