SWK 846: Social Work Practice With Families: Theory And Research 3 credits This course has two foci. First, students learn about specific challenges in studying the development, structure and dynamics of families and strategies for addressing these challenges. The second part reviews major theories for understanding families, critques studies informed by these theories and develops research agenda guided by them.
