Continuing Education Program| Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision

Adelphi's Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision is an intensive training program designed to promote a deepened understanding of the theories, values, and principles that inform supervision. Through the core/integrative seminar (course work and ongoing consultation) and four full-day workshops, participants will focus on the challenges, issues, and dilemmas that shape their work as clinical supervisors. Some fundamental elements of this program include: the therapeutic use of self, choosing an effective model of supervision, supervision as a developmental process, performing and addressing transference and counter transference issues, difficulties and impasses in supervision, and cultural awareness. Supervisors will also refine their skills for developing capable practitioners and professional leaders.

For more details, see the Core Seminar Curriculum and Required Workshops.
