SWK 590: Field Foundation III 4 credits This course is the first half of a yearlong field instruction internship completed during the senior year of the B.S.S.W. program. The field instruction internship provides the experiential component of social work education in which students work directly with clients in a social agency under professional social work supervision. There is an emphasis on developing foundation skills for work with individuals, families, groups, and communities. Students are expected to complete a minimum of 400 hours of internship during SWK 590 and 591.
